Ed Boyer, CEO and president of Mercy Medical Airlift, which manages the Angel Flight program which he helped to found, was presented with AARP The Magazine’s Inspire Award on Dec. 3 in New York City. He was one of 10 Americans, including Gladys Knight, Caroline Kennedy and others, chosen for “improving our world in myriad ways,” according to AARP.
