Provide proof they are properly licensed and certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and provide a current medical certificate

Agree to abide by all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)

Own or have access to an airplane

Agree the aircraft they will use is airworthy, as defined by the FARs

Have logged a minimum of 250 hours of flight time as pilot in command

Have logged a minimum of 25 hours as pilot in command in type of aircraft used to fly Angel Flight missions.

Provide proof of insurance (liability of at least $100,000)

Provide information regarding any accident or FAA enforcement history

Be instrument rated.

To the extent necessary to complete their missions, volunteer pilots for any Air Charity Network member may identify themselves to aviation officials and disaster relief agencies using the call sign "ANGEL FLIGHT" when flying missions into or out of any and all of the 50 states.
